EPA and FDEP will Develop Numeric Nutrient Criteria for Florida

EPA and FDEP have determined that they will work together to develop numeric nutrient criteria for Florida’s fresh and salt waters.  This agreement calls for a quick development timetable.  It is expected that proposed nutrient criteria for freshwater lakes and flowing waters will be available within 12 months, and estuaries and coastal water within 24 months.
